New Year’s Eve Classic Champagne Cocktail
(Recipe makes one drink)
Ingredients
- 1 sugar cube
- ¼ tsp. bitters
- 1/3 oz. cognac
- 5 oz. chilled champagne (you can also use prosecco or cava)
- Strip of orange peel
Directions
- Place sugar cube in small dish, drizzle with bitters. Turn to coat the cube.
- Drop cube into champagne flute, top with cognac, and slowly pour in the champagne.
- Twist orange peel to express oils into drink, and discard.
