So you’ll just need to bring your skis, your family and a sense of adventure.

Kunjamuk Loop: If you choose to ski the Kunjamuk Loop in the Village of Speculator, you’ll enjoy trails that range from novice to intermediate. These trails are groomed and marked, and follow the Kunjamuk River.

Lake Pleasant Nature Ski Trail: This trail also features cross-country skiing for both the newbie and the seasoned skier. This trail begins at the old Lake Pleasant firehouse, and there is parking available across the street.

Northville-Lake Placid Trail: Located in Piseco, this trail follows an old logging road and is not groomed, as it is also a hiking trail. This trail is definitely for the intermediate cross-country skier.
